Recently, our students embarked on a significant field visit to Olkaria Geothermal Plant and Naivasha's prestigious hotels, enriching their academic journey with practical experience in real-world settings.

  • On October 22nd, 2024, Kabarak University TVET Institute had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). This visit marked a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with FKE, as we explored new opportunities to enhance our vocational training programs and equip our students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the dynamic job market.

    The visiting team, comprising Dancan Omondi (Projects Manager, FKE), William Wander (Projects Officer, FKE), and Anna Häggblom (Project Manager, NHO International Cooperation Programme), engaged in fruitful discussions on several key areas. These included expanding the range of vocational training courses, strengthening industry partnerships, promoting soft skills development, fostering innovation, and embracing sustainability.

    The team was impressed by our state-of-the-art facilities and the dedication of our faculty and staff. This visit reinforces our commitment to providing quality vocational training and equipping our students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the dynamic job market. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership with FKE and NHO to create a brighter future for our students.

  • Kabarak University TVET Institute is proud to have been part of the impactful ICDL Africa Forum 2024, held at the prestigious Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi. A dedicated team of our staff, led by our Executive Director, actively participated in the forum, which brought together digital skills champions from across the continent. The forum theme, "Digital Skills for All in Africa," sparked engaging discussions and powerful insights into breaking down barriers to digital access and skill-building across Africa.
  • At Kabarak University TVET Institute, we are committed to providing our students with the best possible preparation for success in their professional careers. Last week, our Executive Director and the examination team took time to personally encourage and guide our trainees, ensuring they were fully prepared for the assessments that began on Monday, 4th November 2024.

  • On Thursday, 14th November 2024, Kabarak University TVET Institute had the privilege of hosting a delegation from Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) TVET. The team, comprising nine members, visited our institution to engage in a benchmarking exercise aimed at exploring best practices and fostering collaborative learning in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
