On October 22nd, 2024, Kabarak University TVET Institute had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). This visit marked a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with FKE, as we explored new opportunities to enhance our vocational training programs and equip our students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the dynamic job market.
The visiting team, comprising Dancan Omondi (Projects Manager, FKE), William Wander (Projects Officer, FKE), and Anna Häggblom (Project Manager, NHO International Cooperation Programme), engaged in fruitful discussions on several key areas. These included expanding the range of vocational training courses, strengthening industry partnerships, promoting soft skills development, fostering innovation, and embracing sustainability.
The team was impressed by our state-of-the-art facilities and the dedication of our faculty and staff. This visit reinforces our commitment to providing quality vocational training and equipping our students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the dynamic job market. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership with FKE and NHO to create a brighter future for our students.
