We are honored to participate in the Four-Day University TVET Sensitization Training on Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET),a strategic initiative aimed at aligning TVET programs with the fast-evolving demands of the labor market.
Kabarak University TVET Institute was proudly represented by Ms. Bervelyne Nekesa (Examinations Officer) and Dr. Faith Yator (Deputy Director), who joined fellow stakeholders in this national dialogue on modular training excellence.
Held under the leadership of Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria, Principal Secretary – State Department for TVET, the Capacity Building Workshop on Modular CBET Delivery showcased the country’s strong progress in rolling out innovative, industry-relevant training.
With 311 curricula now modularized, Kenya’s TVET system is paving the way for standardized assessments, streamlined delivery, and clear learner progression pathways.
Since 2021, Kabarak University TVET Institute has been at the forefront of adopting the CBET model, and we remain committed to advancing competency-based, transformative education.
