On Thursday, 14th November 2024, Kabarak University TVET Institute had the privilege of hosting a delegation from Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) TVET. The team, comprising nine members, visited our institution to engage in a benchmarking exercise aimed at exploring best practices and fostering collaborative learning in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
This visit provided a unique opportunity to showcase Kabarak University TVET Institute’s commitment to excellence in training, innovation, and the holistic development of our students. During their visit, the KeMU TVET team experienced firsthand the strategies, resources, and systems that have positioned our institute as a leader in delivering quality vocational education grounded in Biblical Christian values.
The interaction underscored the shared vision of both institutions to empower students with skills that meet the dynamic needs of the job market while contributing to national development. The benchmarking session also opened avenues for potential partnerships and collaborations in areas such as curriculum development, research, and faculty exchange programs.
We are deeply grateful for the KeMU TVET team’s visit and their keen interest in our operations. As an institute dedicated to excellence, we recognize the immense value of building strong relationships with other institutions to drive innovation and elevate the standards of TVET education.
This visit marks the beginning of a promising partnership, and we look forward to future collaborations that will benefit both institutions and the broader community we serve. Together, we are shaping the future of technical and vocational training in Kenya.
