Tuesday, June 10, 2025- In a major step towards bridging the digital skills gap in Kenya, Data Networks Learning LLC has signed a Memorandum of Association with Kabarak University, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at delivering cutting-edge digital training programs to students across the country.
The agreement was officially signed yesterday by Data Networks Learning LLC CEO Mary Waceke, alongside Kabarak University’s Executive Director Dr. Daniel Mutai and Deputy Director Ms. Faith Yator.
"This partnership is a bold commitment to empowering the next generation with relevant, in-demand tech skills,” said Waceke.
“Together, we’ll ensure our learners get the best of both local support and global exposure. Kabarak is positioning itself as the Silicon Valley of Nakuru, a rising hub for innovation and digital excellence.”
Through the collaboration, students will access a wide range of courses, including artificial intelligence, cyber security, data engineering, software development, agile scrums, and kids coding.
The programs are designed to be hands-on and industry-driven, equipping learners with practical skills for a rapidly evolving digital economy.
The 2025 intake is ongoing, with training offered both online and through supported physical hubs, ensuring flexible access for learners across regions.
Data Networks Learning LLC also partners with institutions such as Miami Dade College and Pan Africa Christian University, with Kabarak’s entry now bolstering its presence in Kenya’s higher education landscape.
