We're cultivating a dynamic environment at Kabarak University TVET Institute where students can unleash their creativity and become innovators from the beginning of their training. Our goal is to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in an increasingly innovative world.
Yesterday, our students were introduced to the art of innovation, learning how to identify problems within their communities and develop impactful solutions. Our Deputy Director, a Research to Commercialization program champion, encouraged students to embrace innovation and make the most of their time in college. She emphasized the importance of research, brainstorming, and learning from experienced innovators.
Ms. Faith Yator, a Trainer of Trainers in the Research to Commercialization program, recently attended the Commercialization and Entrepreneurial Institutional Leaders (CEIL) summit in Mombasa. This summit, sponsored by Viktoria Ventures, provided her with valuable insights that she can now share with our students.
By participating in such events, Ms. Yator is helping to empower and equip our TVET students with the knowledge and skills they need to become innovative problem-solvers. She inspired our students to start innovating early in their studies and encouraged them to develop and refine their ideas.
Dr. Andrew Kebut, an innovation champion and lecturer at the university, joined us virtually to share his insights on innovation. His expertise further reinforced the importance of cultivating a culture of innovation among our students.
We are committed to ensuring that our students gain the necessary innovative knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the world. Join us this September to embark on this journey of innovation and problem-solving. https://tvet.kabarak.ac.ke/application
