At Kabarak University TVET Institute, we believe that practical experience is as essential as theoretical knowledge. To bridge this gap and prepare our learners for the real world, we have implemented an industry exposure program. This initiative provides our students with a firsthand glimpse into their future careers, helping them understand the expectations of the industry and the skills they need to succeed.
This week, our new learners, accompanied by their trainers, embarked on an industry exposure tour. The goal was to give them a taste of what they'll be learning in their upcoming term. By experiencing industry practices firsthand, our students can better appreciate the relevance of their coursework and develop a deeper understanding of the concepts they'll be studying.
Industry exposure is not just about gaining practical skills; it's also about understanding the expectations of employers. By visiting various industries in Nakuru City, our learners were able to see firsthand what employers are looking for in graduates. This knowledge will help them tailor their studies and develop the skills that are most in demand.
Our trainers also benefited from this industry exposure. By witnessing the latest trends and industry best practices, they were able to gain valuable insights that they can share with their students. This will ensure that our curriculum remains relevant and prepares our learners for a successful future.
As we embark on a new term, we are excited to continue our focus on industry exposure. We believe that this program is essential for producing graduates who are not only knowledgeable but also skilled and prepared for the workforce.
If you're interested in a TVET program that offers practical experience and industry exposure, join us this September. Our intake is still open, and we invite you to come and experience the impact of our education firsthand. https://tvet.kabarak.ac.ke/application
