On Thursday, July 4th, 2024, our ICT, Electrical Engineering, and Hospitality students took a giant leap forward in their academic careers by experiencing their fields firsthand.
Our ICT wizards weren't just learning about computer networking skills, hardware, and software in the classroom. They got to see it all come alive during an industry visit! They interacted with seasoned ICT experts, transforming abstract concepts into practical applications. From unraveling the mysteries of the server room to witnessing the intricate dance of interconnected networks, these students gained invaluable insights that will undoubtedly propel them to success.
For our Electrical Engineering students, the classroom transformed into a real-life physics lab. They had a thrilling encounter with lab technicians who unveiled the fascinating world of electrical components, devices, and their practical uses. This hands-on experience provided a deeper understanding of the physical structures that make the world tick, electrifying their learning journey.
Our Hospitality program isn't just about textbook theories. Our future hospitality stars embarked on a captivating visit to one of Nakuru County's most prestigious hotels. They donned their aprons and dove headfirst into the real world, gaining practical experience in food production, front office operations, accommodation management, and the art of guest relations. This immersive experience equips them with the skills and confidence to excel in the dynamic hospitality industry.
