In a significant stride towards revolutionizing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Kenya, a dynamic team from Kabarak University TVET Institute, led by Dr. Daniel Cheruiyot Mutai, Executive Director, and Ms. Faith J. Yator, Deputy Director, actively participated in a pivotal workshop hosted at the Kenya School of TVET on the 14th and 15th of December 2023. The primary focus of the workshop was the release of the July/August 2023 Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) exams and strategic discussions on how to enhance collaboration with stakeholders for the optimal implementation of the CBET program.

Kabarak University TVET Institute is currently engaged in a five-day intensive training program on Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) at its City Campus. This initiative, supported by the Vice-Chancellor of Kabarak University, demonstrates the institute's dedication to equipping its staff with the expertise required to excel in this vital field.
