Kabarak University TVET Institute (KABUTVET) sub-committee comprising Prof. Ronald Chepkilot ( board member), Dr. Daniel Mutai ( Principal, RVIST/Board Member), Mr. Gideon Langat (Board Member), and Dr. John Gathii (Principal, KABU TVET) today presented a report on new technical courses to the Institute’s Chairman, Prof. Henry Kiplangat who is also the Vice Chancellor of Kabarak University.
Some of the courses include electrical and electronic engineering, building and civil engineering, metal work and fabrication, carpentry, hospitality, and dietetics, among others.
This move comes at a time when rapid industrial changes are experienced, and the demand for more skills-based personnel is multiplying, thus the need to bridge the gap.
