Kabarak University and Kabarak TVET today jointly received an award for the Best stand embracing information technology & Communications system.
The team has been showcasing a range of innovations that incorporate ICT and communications systems at the 2022 Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Nakuru edition thus providing solutions to various agricultural challenges faced by farmers.
The event which was themed “Promoting Innovation & Technology in Agriculture and trade” attracted over 150 exhibitors from various sectors and it was presided by the Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Hon. Peter Munya.
Speaking during the official opening of the show, the agriculture CS urged farmers to diversify crop production which would minimize over-reliance on one crop.
Earlier in the week, the Kabarak team was privileged to have HE Hon. Lee Kinyanjui Nakuru County Governor who commended Kabarak for the great innovations they were coming up with.
