Kabarak University TVET Institute recently hosted a three-day hands-on training workshop focused on soft skills, in partnership with the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE). The workshop, led by Mr. Dan, an expert from FKE, and Ms. Veronica, a seasoned Human Resource specialist, aimed to equip students with essential skills needed to thrive in the job market.
During the training, participants were taught practical skills such as how to craft an effective CV and how to connect with potential employers. These skills are vital for students as they prepare to transition into their professional careers. The hands-on nature of the workshop allowed the students to gain valuable insights and practical knowledge that they can immediately apply in their job search.
The Institute's management, led by the Executive Director, expressed their gratitude towards Mr. Dancan, Ms. Veronica, and the entire FKE team for generously sharing their expertise with both students and staff. The management emphasized how such collaborations contribute to the holistic development of students and help bridge the gap between education and employment.
This initiative marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between Kabarak University TVET Institute and FKE, with plans for further workshops and programs to be rolled out over the next five years. The Institute is excited about the continued collaboration and looks forward to helping students grow into well-rounded professionals ready to make an impact in the workforce
