On Saturday, February 17th, 2024, Kabarak University and the Kabarak University TVET Institute had the honor of participating in the Mukumu Girls Secondary School Career Day. This event, designed to empower young women to make informed decisions about their futures, presented a valuable opportunity for us to showcase our diverse academic programs and inspire the next generation of leaders.
Our team was met with an enthusiastic crowd of students eager to explore their career options. We presented a wide range of undergraduate and vocational programs, highlighting how they align with diverse passions and ambitions. From healthcare and engineering to business and education, we emphasized the transformative power of education and the fulfilling careers achievable through dedicated study.
Beyond program specifics, our representatives encouraged the girls to embrace ambition and dedication. We shared stories of successful alumni and emphasized the importance of setting goals, overcoming challenges, and pursuing dreams with unwavering determination. We also highlighted the unique advantages of choosing Kabarak University and the TVET Institute, including our commitment to academic excellence, holistic development, and fostering a supportive community.
The Mukumu Girls Secondary School Career Day brought together numerous institutions from across Kenya, creating a vibrant platform for students to engage and explore. Sharing ideas and expertise with fellow educators further reaffirmed our collective responsibility in shaping the future. We are grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this inspiring event and look forward to continuing our journey of empowering young minds to reach their full potential.
