Kabarak University TVET Institute today proudly celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of its Second Cohort of students in partnership with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). The colorful event, held at the City Campus grounds under the theme “Skillful Steps toward Success,” brought together graduates, parents, staff, industry partners, and distinguished guests in a joyful celebration of achievement.
This milestone marks the successful completion of a three-month NITA-accredited training programme that equipped over 250 learners with market-ready skills in diverse fields such as engineering, ICT, hospitality, plumbing, carpentry, beauty therapy, electrical work, and business. The graduates also benefited from valuable industry exposure at institutions including Sarova Woodlands Hotel, Merica Hotel, HACO Industries, GDC, and Bonfire Ventures.
In his keynote address, Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, Vice Chancellor of Kabarak University and Chairperson of the KABU TVET Board, congratulated the graduates for their dedication and urged them to uphold integrity, excellence, and resilience as they enter the workforce. He emphasized the Institute’s unique approach of delivering training rooted in practical skills and a biblical foundation.
With an impressive pass rate and special recognitions awarded to outstanding students, this second cohort’s success is a testament to the Institute’s strong partnership with NITA, industry stakeholders, and sponsors such as Compassion International.
