On Thursday, 6th March 2025, we had a truly inspiring and productive meeting at the Kabarak University TVET Institute, where we celebrated our continued partnership with the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE). This collaboration aims to equip students with essential soft skills—an initiative designed to bridge the gap between education and the dynamic demands of the industry.
The discussions were vibrant and insightful as we reaffirmed the significance of this partnership. Kabarak University TVET Institute is already recognized for its excellence in vocational training, and now, through this collaboration with FKE, students will gain an even more comprehensive and industry-relevant skill set. The soft skills training will empower students to build confidence, enhance their communication abilities, and cultivate leadership qualities—all of which are vital for success in today’s ever-evolving workplace.
We were excited to announce that this partnership is not just a one-off initiative but a long-term commitment for the next four years. Together with other stakeholders, we plan to equip more students with the right tools for the future, ensuring that they graduate not just with technical skills but as well-rounded professionals ready to make meaningful contributions to the workforce.
The meeting was attended by representatives from FKE and Kabarak University TVET Institute, led by the Executive Director, Dr. Dan Mutai. Key discussions focused on implementing this training effectively to maximize its impact. We look forward to seeing the positive outcomes of this collaboration, benefiting students, employers, and the wider industry as we work towards shaping a generation of skilled and confident professionals.
This marks the beginning of a bright future—one where education and industry work hand in hand to create seamless opportunities for growth and success
