Dr. Faith Yator proudly represented Kabarak University TVET Institute at the African Premier Artificial Intelligence Conference (APAIC), held at Sarova Whitesands, Mombasa, from 25th to 29th August 2025.
This high-level conference brought together top government officials from across Africa and leading institutions from Kenya, all focused on shaping the future of Artificial Intelligence on the continent.
Dr. Yator presented a thought-provoking paper titled “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence in TVET for Sustainable Growth and Industrial Relevance”, exploring how TVET institutions can leverage AI to enhance training delivery, drive innovation, and align graduates with industry needs.
Her presentation contributed to key discussions on how AI can transform technical and vocational education, making it more responsive, innovative, and future-ready.
